Just a few of the large commercial projects we have been involved with:
2017: Install new Geniglace steel pontoon debris boom at Hugh Keenleyside Dam.
2015: Install six 550m 25 KV high voltage submarine cables across the West Arm of Kootenay Lake for Nelson Hydro with Fraser Burrard Diving.
2015: Conduct dredging near the Brisco Bridge on the Columbia River for the Ministry of Transportation with Emcon.
2010: Install 5.6 km fibreoptic submarine cable for Shaw Cable Systems across Kootenay Lake from Balfour to Pilot Point with Ledcor.
Our barge is ideal for submarine cable installations, dredging with an excavator or for large equipment and/or material hauling. Our two sectional barges combine to form a 20 ft wide x 40 feet long x 4 ft deep barge that can handle up to 100,000 lbs. Our sectional barges can be stacked and shipped on a flat-deck. We are able to launch in many standard boat ramps from our trailer, or the barge sections can be unloaded into the water by a large crane. Our barge is easily maneuverable even in shallow water situations.

Tug Boat: Our 29' steel hull, M.V. Buckshot, is normally moored at our marina in Balfour, BC and available for tug service on Kootenay Lake or other area lakes.
We also have two aluminum workboats in our fleet.
Our Western Star semi-truck with Danco crane has a capacity of 10,000 lbs along-side and 1,800 lbs at 60 ft. We also have various trailers available up to 48' step deck and can be available for crane service or short distance hauling.
